This prequel cycles between the emotional toll, melodramatic speeches, and gun-filled warfare that's typical in this genre. Kitsch is undoubtedly in his element, portraying a character like Ben Edwards in The Terminal List: Dark Wolf. Fans of the franchise are the likeliest to appreciate Edwards' journey/POV. The language, violence, and smoking make this suitable for older teens.
