What's the Story?

THE VALLEY: PERSIAN STYLE features some of the cast of Shahs of Sunset living their lives in the suburbs. The unscripted series spinoff features Golnea "GG" Gharachedaghi, Reza Farahan, Mercedah "MJ" Javid. who have chosen to leave Beverly Hills and settle down in the San Fernando Valley. GG is raising her son and working on OnlyFans, while Reza enjoys married live with husband Adam Neely. Meanwhile, MJ is a realtor at Mauricio Umansky's high-end real estate firm, The Agency, while raising a son with her husband Tommy Feight and dealing with her critical mother, Vida. As they navigate marriage, parenthood, and other challenges, their longtime friends Tanin Nikpey and Greg Haroutunian, along with Sky Askari and Bashed Akhbari, also join the fray. Rounding out the group is Reza Jackson, who wants to build ties in the Persian community while hanging on to a partying lifestyle. There never seems to be a dull moment on their side of suburbia, but these folks are trying to figure out what works (and doesn't) for them during this phase of their lives.

Is It Any Good?

In this show, Sunset follows in the footsteps ofThe Valley's cast by settling down into quieter adult lifestyles. As they come together for lunches, children's birthday parties, and boys and girls nights, GG, Reza, and MJ, along with their partners and other featured couples, act cattily, argue, and of course, have lots of relationship drama. If you enjoy its parent series, chances are that you'll be entertained by watching what happens to this older (but perhaps not always wiser) cast. Like most reality television, there are some contrived scenes. Nonetheless, The Valley: Persian Style mixes in some honest moments that viewers in similar phases of life might relate to.
