This outgoing koala is a bundle of joy to watch in this crisply animated CGI incarnation. Blinky has a nose for fun and a penchant for mild catastrophe, an altogether hilarious combination that is nearly as enticing to watch as an adult as it is for kids. The stories proceed at a clip that makes it impossible to get bored, and the colorful menagerie of characters run the gamut of personalities and likability.

Even with so much focus on the excitement of Blinky Bill's imaginative adventures, this series incorporates some decent themes that serve its intended audience well. Friendship is at the forefront, with Blinky and Jacko's relationship always central to whatever is happening and the two buddies complementing each other well. Astute viewers of The Wild Adventures of Blinky Bill will also see subtler reminders about being yourself, taking responsibility for your actions, and communicating effectively to avoid misunderstandings.
