To Your Eternity
What's the Story?
In TO YOUR ETERNITY mysterious orb appears in the tundra, adapting over time to its surroundings. At first it becomes a rock, then after years, it turns into moss. When an injured wolf collapses on the mossy rock, it takes over its body, transforming into the wolf. The wolf finds a hut inhabited by a boy who recognizes him. As that boy ventures into the vast, snowy plains, the wolf accompanies him. Other transformations occur, taking the orb from body to body, until it learns to transform on its own, ever in search of more stimulation. Will the orb manifest good things? What will happen when other creatures discover the nature of its existence?
Is It Any Good?
Intricate realms, bloody battles, tentacles slurping and sliming out of rock faces to grab at humans. Yes, To Your Eternity is the stuff that anime fantasy fans sign up for. Teetering between appropriate and iffy content, themes of human sacrifice, the purity of young girls, and optimistic souls being crushed by the weight of their failures are sure to keep anime lovers glued to the screen.
Parents may want to keep an eye on their young teens, as the weird creatures and circumstances can get gruesome. But anime fans will likely keep watching until this otherworldly epic comes crashing to an end.
