Toad & Friends
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
In TOAD & FRIENDS, every day is a new chance for fun, friendship, and adventure alongside the riverbank. Whether they're repainting Mole's house or stopping the Weasels from taking over Toad Hall, Toad, Mole, Ratty, and Hedge are in it together. The series celebrates everyday moments and how much better they are when shared with friends.
Is It Any Good?
This series is a good alternative for families wanting to escape the fast-paced, action-based preschool content. Toad & Friends really evokes the feeling of reading a book: taking the time to get to know the characters, explore the environments, and return to familiar sources of comfort and adventure. Think of it as the older sibling of Hop or Frog and Toad.
Talk to Your Kids About ...
Families can talk about what it means to be part of a community, and how we see it in Toad & Friends. What makes a community? And who's in your community?
Toad and his friends all have different personalities, and sometimes that causes mix-ups or hurt feelings. What can we do to make sure we really understand each other?
What are some things we can learn from friends? Can you think of a time when you learned something from a friend?
