What's the Story?

Based on the mobile game app Trivia Crack, TRIVIA QUEST is an interactive Netflix series designed to test your trivia savvy. Hosted by Willy the spinning wheel (voiced by Jonathan Melo), each nine-minute installment offers players the chance to earn points by answering multiple-choice questions about art, sports, history, science, books, and other subjects correctly. The points are then used to collect knowledge keys that are used to free each of Willy's super-smart friends from the lair controlled by Rocky the bad sword. Once an episode's 12 questions are answered and the points tallied, players have the option to revisit the initial questions or try a harder round to earn more points.

Is It Any Good?

Each episode of this colorful series offers lots of fun, and often challenging, questions that trivia buffs will enjoy. But while the animation is appealing to small children, the questions are intended for pre-teens and older. It's not particularly educational, and despite the basic storyline, it isn't particularly creative, either. Nonetheless, if you're looking to bide some time playing a simple but addictive video game, Trivia Quest may fit the bill.
