What's the Story?

True Story is about The Kid (Kevin Hart), an extremely successful stand-up comic in the middle of a stadium tour. When his older brother (Wesley Snipes) shows up at one of his tour stops, The Kid must face how much trouble their relationship causes to his life and career. And that's before things start to go horribly wrong...

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say ( 1 ):
Kids say ( 1 ):

Kevin Hart seems to be playing against his own strengths in this drama, in which he mostly mistakes sulking for serious acting. Nevertheless, True Story contains some fun surprises, mostly in plot twists and guest appearances by the likes of Wesley Snipes and Billy Zane. It may not be the best showcase for Hart himself, but there's enough here for fans of mystery and suspense to enjoy.
