Under the Helmet: The Legacy of Boba Fett
What's the Story?
Under the Helmet: The Legacy of Boba Fett takes a look at how a someone with such a small amount of dialogue and screen time became one of Star Wars' most recognizable characters. It begins with Boba Fett's introduction at live events before The Empire Strikes Back even came out, and looks at the details and creative choices that brought this bounty hunter to life.
Is It Any Good?
This mixed bag of a documentary attempts to answer the question of how such a small part became such a huge phenomenon. Even casual fans will recognize the name Boba Fett, even if they don't necessarily know what the big deal is. The front half is packed with fun footage and intel on design choices, acting choice, and, yes, marketing choices that all may have contributed to Boba Fett's massive popularity. But the back half unfortunately devolves into padding and promo for the upcoming series -- where the longtime fan favorite will finally take a starring role.
