Villainous
What's the Story?
In VILLAINOUS, the Black Hat Org is an agency that helps villains solve their problems—which often means defeating a superhero. When a fearless hero threatens to demolish a haunted house, Dr. Flug, Demencia, and 5.0.5. are the ones to call. This unlikely group of heroes (or villains?) is always ready for trouble.
Is It Any Good?
It's a fun concept, but the execution feels too self-indulgent. Villainous seems more concerned with planting Easter eggs for fans than welcoming a new audience. The show sets up a fun twist by putting villains at the center, but overdoes it on negative behavior, fast pace, and layered references that make it hard for newcomers to follow. While Villainous is a comedy, the intense visuals and lack of clear messaging make it more suitable for older kids who enjoy satire and don't mind being a little scared.
