What's the Story?

WORST NEIGHBOR EVER is a true crime series that chronicles some of the most harrowing stories about people in conflicts with their neighbors. From a racist woman obsessed with a mixed-race couple living across the street to a family violently harassed for months by a former neighbor, it offers first-hand accounts of how disputes between folks living in the same neighborhood escalated into terrible, life-altering events. Interviews with folks who witnessed and were affected by what happened offer extensive details. Animated reconstructions of events, along with photographs, archive news footage, and moments recorded by law enforcement and private security cameras also reveal what transpired.

Following in the tradition of Worst Roommate Ever and Worst Ex Ever, this true crime series explores specific, headline-making true stories told from the point of view of victims, survivors, and their loved ones. It details how disagreements between neighbors devolved into moments of intimidation, harassment, theft, and fatal violence. All of this is offered for the purpose of underscoring the enduring and far-reaching physical, emotional, and financial consequences the events continue to have on their lives. Like the other Worst Ever installments, Worst Neighbor Ever tries to stay away from sensationalizing these events. Nonetheless, it's still hard to wrap your head around how far some people will go to in order to destroy the lives of others in their communities.
