Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
Yuhi thinks aliens took his Earthdama and is determined to get it back. But first, he needs to prove that aliens exist! Alongside his sister Yuamu, they form the Ultraterrestrial Tracker Squad. When they accidentally board a spaceship, they meet Yudias, an alien who fled a war on his planet hoping to learn Rush Duel to help end the fighting there. Yuhi and Yuamu agree to teach Yudias in exchange for his assistance tracking aliens. Together, they embark on an adventure of intergalactic encounters and Rush lessons, discovering battle moves that are truly out of this world.
Is It Any Good?
In many ways, it feels like a fresh start for the universe—new cast, new goals, new trading cards—however, the show fails to offer compelling storytelling that would attract non-fans. Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!! is more for those who are curious about or already into the gameplay but have missed out on the original anime.
For those who want to dive deeper into the universe, it's a decent sequel. But if your kid is unfamiliar with Yu-Gi-Oh!, there's no strong reason to introduce them to it now.
