Depends, but they must know

It just depends on the kid. I wouldn't recommend it to those under 11. Really. They need to sleep very early and Adult Swim has a lot of sexual themes and swearing, parents that have kids above 12 still have to atleast be aware before letting their kid watch. Also I might need to add this: Bumpers exist to scare em kids off, if your kid cant handle it then its time for them to stop.

Creepy and Weird

They used to have a “bumper” (commercial) at the end of their programming at 6 am. It was used to scare kids off and I don’t like it. Adult Swim airs creepy bumpers that can give kids nightmares. This has caused me to stop watching Cartoon Network for good. Parents, if you have children, set rules for them about this channel. If they watch it, they would want to avoid the channel and have nightmares after watching a night’s programming.

Not for kids!

Adult Swim is not for kids and is designed for ages 18-34. It’s called Adult Swim for a reason. Not for children under the age of 18. This channel should be rated for ages 18+, not 16+. Adult Swim is not designed for teenagers, it’s designed for adults ages 18-34. And when Adult Swim first came out, the disclaimer literally said "Parents strongly cautioned, the following programs are intended for mature audiences over the age of 18. These programs may contain some material that many parents would not find suitable for children and may include intense violence, sexual situations, coarse language and suggestive dialogue.". As well as “All kids out of the pool for Adult Swim”. This network airs shows such as Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Emoji Movie, The Eric Andre Show, Teenage Euthanasia, Bob’s Burgers, King Of The Hill, Rick and Morty, American Dad, Futurama, and The Boondocks. This channel is NOT for kids. Most of its programming is TV-PG, TV-14, and TV-MA.

11+ can watch adult swim

It depends on what show your watching but don’t let your kids watch American dad and smiling freinds. They can watch my adventures with Superman and it’s okay to let your kids watch Toonami as long as it’s One Piece , Naruto. And my hero academia

may not be appropriate for young children

Parents need to know adult swim broadcasts adult TV shows like rick and morty, bob's burgers, king of the hill, and so on. but what makes it a bit more appropriate is they bleep words, blur nudity, and cut scenes. but still there is still inapropriate talk with no bleeping. the only bad words they would allow is the b word, the a word, and the d word. Those are the most common. anything else, they bleep.

to be fair

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily fromNarodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick and Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existencial catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Rick and Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

preteens/teens will most likely love adult swim

It honestly depends on the child, so use your best judgement. There is violence and sex or whatever, but most kids know about these things. Honestly. The violence also is like video game violence. It isn't super disturbing, just bloody, and the sex is mostly just sex jokes and references. Personally I love adult swim. It adds this nostalgic yet entertaining feeling to all of it's shows. Just try it. And hey, if you don't think it might be a good idea, look at their shows. Some are more child friendly than others. King of the Hill is great and pretty family friendly, compared to Rick and Morty which has a lot of violence, sex jokes, and swearing. Take a chance cuz they are probably ready for it.

[Adult Swim] age rating.

[Adult Swim]/cartoon network after hours (or [as]) has good programming and some really cool bumps that other networks don't have. from what I have found the majority of the stuff on [adult swim] is rated "TV-14" with a few shows being "TV-MA".
