What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Any.do: To-Do List, Calendar, Reminders & Tasks is a multi-function task and calendar app. Its most unique feature is that premium users can pay an Any.do assistant to do tasks such as gift or grocery shopping, house cleaning, and home repairs, though this feature was in beta at the time of review. It syncs across multiple devices and users, and it works with Amazon's Alexa. Beyond those features, it functions similar to many other list, reminder, and calendar apps with organized notes, day-by-day lists, and alarm reminders. Read the app's privacy policy to find out about the types of information collected and shared.

What’s It About?
To use ANY.DO: TO-DO LIST, CALENDAR, REMINDERS & TASKS, link to your Facebook, Google, or email account. Tap the "+" icon to add a task. Scroll through the list of premade options for types of tasks or type your own. You can organize tasks by day, share tasks with friends, set an alarm, star important tasks, connect to Amazon's Alexa, and add audio, text, or image notes to a task, print lists, and more. View in calendar mode or list mode, as well as by general category (Personal, Work, School, and so on). Once your task is complete, swipe right. You also can view all completed tasks. The assistant service is a new premium feature on the app (in beta at the time of this review) that allows users to hire people to do tasks for them for a 10 percent service fee in addition to the base price for service.
Is It Any Good?
There are a lot of powerful ways to streamline time management, task organizing, and collaboration on this app, but it may be too much for some kids -- especially those who are easily distracted. Any.do: To-Do List, Calendar, Reminders & Tasks is not the go-to list or reminder app for kids or teens still learning the basics of organizing and time management. For older teens, however, Any.do may be just what over-scheduled teens' teachers, coaches, bosses, volunteer coordinators, and parents would love them to use. Parents who have privacy concerns may not want to spring for the personal assistant feature until they take a closer look at the privacy policy.
