What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Bring Me Sandwiches!! is a strange and fun game that feels like a cross between Supercow and I Love Katamari. An alien has landed and is hungry. He asks you to bring him a sandwich, and the craziness begins. Grab a slice of bread and collect whatever you can find (a flower, hot dog, small rocks, even a cat) to fill up your sandwich. Find the alien courier and return the sandwich as quickly as possible to get the most points. But beware the angry citizens who want to stop you on your mission. They'll pelt you with dynamite, rocks, and other items and you'll lose a life. As the game progresses, the alien asks for bigger and bigger sandwiches, so you'll collect cars, buildings, people, and whatever else you can find. Each level has special items to find, and the possibility to collect up to three golden slices of bread -- one for meeting the time limit, one for meeting a high score, and one for escaping with minimal damage. You'll need the slices to unlock bonus levels in each chapter. The game has four chapters -- American, Mexican, Italian, Japanese.

Is It Any Good?
BRING ME SANDWICHES!! is challenging, but in a way that makes you want to keep trying. There's always a new item to collect, and each of the chapters has different decor, people, and obstacles. Cleverly designed so that you can almost always skip a level if you're stuck, the game also includes save points you can return to. Each level has achievements to reach, but those are optional. You can just complete the level at your own pace as long as you have enough life left and then return later to work toward the elusive golden slices of bread. A food journal keeps track of everything you've collected, and the truly hardcore may want to keep playing until they've collected every item in the game. The game has plenty of value, but is best tackled by kids (and adults!) who enjoy having to work for their success. It does get easier as you become familiar with the layout for a level.
