What parents need to know

Parents need to know that Cake Doodle is a fun, creative pastime. It allows users to choose from several different cake recipes, perform an abbreviated version of putting the ingredients together and baking the cake, and then -- the main part -- decorate the cake. Users choose from loads of different icings and decorations to make the cake exactly the way they desire. Then users can tap the cake repeatedly to take big, ridiculous bites out of it. Players will also eat the decorations!

It's the Icing on the Cake!

I really like cake doodle, it lets you be creative with your style of cake, kind of cake, and the icing on the cake!

Is it any good?

What makes CAKE DOODLE a great app is the amount of options it offers. First a player can choose from dozens of cake recipes (dark chocolate, peanut butter, red velvet, etc.), then choose from an array of styles (rectangular sheet, round layer, tiered, etc.). After that they have oodles more options when it comes to icing and other decorations. The actual baking part is rudimentary, but a fun little addition (players do things like crack eggs, slice butter, and stir, stir, stir). This is one of those silly-seeming apps that turns out to be a whole lote more fun than you'd ever expect.
