This is an incredible app for tweens, teens, and adults -- from newbies to garage band members -- who want to learn guitar skills as well as how to play specific songs. The methods used in Coach Guitar Chords Tuner Tabs combine visual color cues, video lessons (that can be played on slow motion and loop), and clear diagrams, plus optional sheet music. There's no music "theory" taught on this app. Instead, it's a nuts-and-bolts, practical way to learn guitar for people who just want to know how to play -- and how to play specific songs -- and not spend time learning the whys behind the how. There's also a handy guitar tuner built into the app. If your kid is serious about learning how to play, Coach Guitar is one music-learning app that's well worth the monthly subscription price.
