A Lot or a Little?
What you will—and won't—find in this app.
Ease of Play
In order not to confuse kids, parents should turn off the extra coloring books available for purchase.
Products & Purchases
Other coloring books priced at .99 apiece are scattered among the three included. Parents can hide these from view so kids aren't tempted.
Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that this coloring book is perfect for kids who like to color. With more than 300 images to choose from, kids can find simple pages to color or choose pictures with lots of details. A round of applause erupts when a picture is finished.
Is It Any Good?
Kids who like to color will love Colorama. Other coloring apps are a tad easier to use but they don't have Colorama's 38 delicious hues or 50 illustrations ranging from space creatures to Easter bunnies. When kids finish coloring a page a crowd cheers or claps, making them feel proud of their work. Finished masterpeices can be e-mailed, saved to the photo album or dragged to the trash can to start over.
Did we miss something on diversity?
Research shows a connection between kids' healthy self-esteem and positive portrayals in media. That's why we've added a new "Diverse Representations" section to our reviews that will be rolling out on an ongoing basis. You can help us help kids by suggesting a diversity update.
