What parents need to know

Parents need to know that this ebook rendition of the classic whimisical alphabet book Dr. Seuss's ABC is very faithful to the original, and very well-designed to maximize ease of use for preschoolers. Of all the Seuss books, this is perhaps the one targeted at the youngest readers, so it may feel babyish to even a kindergartner.

Is it any good?

DR. SEUSS'S ABC is faithfully adapted in this ebook app, which is perfectly suited to preschoolers playing around with Mom or Dad's iphone. Kids can swipe and point with zero effort, enabling them to enjoy the app without any grown-up help. Each word is highlighted as it is read, making it easy to follow along. And the reading is performed by a great actress who gives her all to the nonsense syllables of Dr. Seuss.
