Did we miss something on diversity?
Research shows a connection between kids' healthy self-esteem and positive portrayals in media. That's why we've added a new "Diverse Representations" section to our reviews that will be rolling out on an ongoing basis. You can help us help kids by suggesting a diversity update.

What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Endless - Multiplayer Music allows kids to create their own music and beats, and then collaborate with others live. There's an open chat tied to the collaboration tools where users can freely comment. There was some cursing in the chat during our review. There's no tutorial, and the help section is better suited toward those with some experience or a willingness to experiment. There's a premium subscription option that unlocks additional tools/content. Read the developer's privacy policy for details on how your (or your kids') information is collected, used, and shared and any choices you may have in the matter, and note that privacy policies and terms of service frequently change.

What’s It About?
ENDLESS - MULTIPLAYER MUSIC gives kids the tools to create their own music riffs and then share them with others for collaboration. Kids experiment with digital instruments in six categories: Drums, Notes, Bass, Sampler, FX, and microphone. They can adjust qualities like pitch, tone, bounce, speed, and reverb to customize their sounds. There are community jams where everyone is invited to contribute and comment. There's also an option to invite specific friends to either listen or contribute to personal jams. The premium subscription ($4.49/month) unlocks additional content and features like a sampler.
Is It Any Good?
Kids who are into digital music creation will love the ability to easily collaborate with friends. Endless - Multiplayer Music is likely most suited to teens and up, due to the open chat experience, but younger kids may enjoy playing around with an adult nearby. The digital sounds and effects are fun to experiment with. The help section seems to assume a basic level of experience with these sort of tools. This may be off-putting to kids without any experience, but it's enough to help kids figure out some of the more complicated options. Endless - Multiplayer Music may not be the best first introduction to digital music creation, but it's appealing for those who want to engage with other people while they create.
