Family movie night? There's an app for that
Download our new mobile app on iOS and Android.
A Lot or a Little?
What you will—and won't—find in this app.
Kids can learn a year's worth of facts about animals, nature, our bodies, and more. While kids and parents cannot choose specific topics to hear and read about, the wide range of subjects has a little something for everyone. The daily pops of information in FACTS FOR KIDS - a new fact every day don't go into much depth, but they can be a starting point for additional research and discovery.
Ease of Play
The app is very simple with little navigation needed. The facts are read aloud so pre-readers can enjoy them, too.
Products & Purchases

Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that FACTS FOR KIDS - a new fact every day offers one fact a day on random topics from science and geography to the just plain silly. The facts can be great conversation starters for people of all ages and can lead kids to discover and explore new interests. Kids can bookmark their favorite facts and can share them via email and Facebook. The Android version of this app goes by the title A Fact Every Day.
Is It Any Good?
FACTS FOR KIDS - A NEW FACT EVERY DAY is a fun way to discover something new. Like "word of the day" calendars or apps, kids get one fact each day, which is enough to get them thinking and still coming back for more the next day. The narration is nice and makes it possible for young kids to enjoy the facts, too. The facts cover a wide range of topics, so even if today's fact doesn't seem interesting, tomorrow's might. Who knew a sailfish can swim faster than a cheetah can run?
Did we miss something on diversity?
Research shows a connection between kids' healthy self-esteem and positive portrayals in media. That's why we've added a new "Diverse Representations" section to our reviews that will be rolling out on an ongoing basis. You can help us help kids by suggesting a diversity update.
