Unplug from distracting social media or game apps and promote tech-life balance, productivity, and mindfulness using this easy-to-navigate and comprehensive digital tool. Flipd - Keep Focused uses technology to monitor time spent unplugged, off social media and downloadable apps, and spent on wellness, work, study, exercise, or other activities. It's a handy tool for those looking for motivation to lock away distracting apps on their device and support tracking their time unplugged. Parents might also find Flipd - Keep Focused to be handy in helping kids balance or restrict time spent using their device for entertainment since the full lockdown feature locks access to social media and other apps for the time set by the user. The full lockdown feature limits social media and apps while still allowing kids to use text, phone, and email to communicate with friends and family.

Kids will find competing with other productivity-minded folk fun and motivating. Although it's an option to join groups with members you don't know, kids can create their own community group and invite friends to spend time unplugged and focused on their school work. They'll be able to see how much "time well spent" they're racking up compared to friends. Knowing who's in the group and seeing their rank may be more motivating than competing with strangers or joining a large group where they rank in the hundreds or thousands right off the bat. Flipd - Keep Focused also promotes wellness practices beyond breathing exercises and guided meditation. The options include practices that promote calm and relaxation, but also inspiration and exploring new ideas through features like pep talks and podcasts. The free version of the app gives enough access to get a taste of what the wellness hub offers and start practicing, but membership is required to unlock the full collection and other features. Overall, it's a fun tool that provides resources and helps kids and grown-ups work toward tech-life balance.
