Great read-along adaptation of a lesser-known Seuss classic.

Good, but

I rate this 4 stars because the Gertrude gets attacked by Norm of the Norm in this movie.

This title has:

Too much violence
Too much sex

Is It Any Good?

GERTRUDE MCFUZZ, a be-careful-what-you-wish-for fable, may not be one of Dr. Seuss most-read works, but it's still a wonderful story. And it is given a very fine ebook adaptation in this app. The story is beautifully read aloud by an excellent actress, with each word highlighted as spoken so kids can easily follow along. A great feature (included in all of Oceanhouse Media's Dr. Seuss book apps) lets kids tap on objects in the illustrations to see and hear the names of those things. This is one of Seuss's shorter books, but the lower price tag on the app reflects that.
