What’s It About?
In GRIM FANDANGO REMASTERED Manny Calavera is a travel agent at the Department of Death, who helps souls on their four-year journey to the afterlife. But when he falls in love and discovers a conspiracy against him, he's forced to fight for what's right. The game's controls have been updated to use touch interface: Players tap on an object to interact with it or touch a part of the screen to head there. However, it's not always intuitive to get the characters to do what you want them to do.
Is It Any Good?
Widely considered one of the greatest games in the video game industry's history, this unique adventure is still top-notch, but the touch methods of point and click feel a bit dated, and hints for new players are lacking. Make no mistake -- the story, dialogue, characters, and music of this game are just as stellar as they were more than 15 years ago. However, a few tweaks to the controls and the addition of a tutorial would enhance the update even further. New to the game or not, you'll likely be captivated by its charms and new habitat.
Talk to Your Kids About ...
Families can talk about doing the right thing, even when you face tough opposition.
Families also can talk about smoking and drinking and the dangerous effects it can have. How might the smoking and drinking in this game be different from that in another game or TV show?
