What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Kid E Cats. Educational features characters from a preschool TV series to introduce a variety of games with light early learning themes. Kids don't need to know the TV series to play the games. The instructions for some games are text only, which may frustrate kids. The free version has a significant amount of ad content which makes it inappropriate for the targeted age group. Third-party ads that kids must watch to continue playing pop up consistently. The ads also include direct links to the product with no parent gate. Parents can remove ads and unlock the full game with a $5.99 in app purchase. Read the developer's privacy policy for details on how your (or your kids') information is collected, used, and shared and any choices you may have in the matter, and note that privacy policies and terms of service frequently change.

What’s It About?
Tap on a game icon to choose from 30 activities in KID E CATS. EDUCATIONAL. Some games touch on preschool learning topics such as puzzles or creativity while others are just for fun. For example, play a piano in a free play jam session or follow guidance to play a well-known song. Quickly solve simple addition or subtraction problems to win a bicycle race. Put shapes together to make a tangram image. Make a pizza to match the requested ingredients, or choose what comes next in a pattern.
Is It Any Good?
These preschool games are lightly educational, but are sometimes missing basic supports for young kids. With 30 games (21 games with the free version), Kid E Cats. Educational has a decent variety of activities. And with bright colors and cute animated cats, preschoolers are likely to find most of them fun and appealing. Many games involve some logical reasoning or puzzle solving. But many also don't include instructions for what kids are supposed to do, or are confusing once kids start playing. This may be fine for some kids, but will frustrate others. Though the games will probably entertain kids, they aren't particularly creative or inspiring. Most are average versions of standard preschool fare. It's also important to note that the free version is too riddled with intrusive ads to be appropriate for young kids.

Provide lots of opportunities for learning and creativity, on screen and off. Books, blocks, stuffed animals, simple puzzles, and dress-up clothes are all great toys to offer a preschooler.
