What parents need to know

Parents need to know that More Sundaes! is not really a game, but more of a virtual plaything. Using the app, kids can create their own ice cream treats, choosing from multiple flavors, bowls or cones, toppings, and sauces. Once created, they can "lick" the virtual dessert with a swipe of the finger, or take a bite out of it with a tap. That's pretty much all there is to it. Parents should also be aware, though, that there's a button that allows kids to post pics of their created sundaes to Facebook. If you tap that button, the app will ask for the email address and password associated with your Facebook account. This information is needed in order for the app to send the sundae image to Facebook, but some parents may not be comfortable with it.

cool

my toddler sister can play this

Is it any good?

The only real problem with MORE SUNDAES! is that it's billed as a game. There are no rules, no scores, no objectives. But it is a fun and creative timekiller app that even very young children can use and enjoy. Choosing from loads of different ice cream flavors and toppings, adding special items like bananas or brownies, and even choosing the type of cone or cup to put their dessert in, gives kids a lot to work with. In a way, this app allows kids to create food-based art. And, honestly, it all looks pretty delicious. Just make sure kids don't end up flooding parental Facebook accounts with pics of custom-made sundaes.
