A Lot or a Little?
What you will—and won't—find in this app.
Ease of Play
You use a virtual joystick to move your Pac-Man around. It's relatively simple.
Violence & Scariness
In this version, Pac-Man can chomp ghosts and other Pac-Men as well. Still, it's no more violent than the original arcade classic.

The app promotes the new stand-up arcade machine version of Pac-Man Battle Royale, which will be appearing in arcades nationwide.
Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Pac-Man Battle Royale is a four-player competitive version of the classic Pac-Man arcade game. Its gameplay is very similar to the original, but has four Pac-Men navigating at once, and they can eat each other as well as the enemy ghosts. Last Pac-Man standing wins. Two to four people play together on one iPad.
Is It Any Good?
If you've played Pac-Man, you can play PAC-MAN BATTLE ROYALE, but you'll have to use all new strategies and keep on your toes even more than usual. The competitive aspect is a very nice addition, and you can have a blast trying to outrun not only the pursuing ghosts, but also your fellow players. While the one four-player maze is pretty much the entirety of what you get in this app, it makes for a great "huddle game" -- an app for multiple users on the same iPad. The app could be improved by adding the ability to compete with others via WiFi, but if you've got a few friends sitting around and you don't want to pull out the same old board games, this could be a very enjoyable alternative.
