What’s It About?
Scoops: Ice Cream for Everyone is a fun game in which kids tilt the device to catch and stack scoops of ice cream, burgers, cupcakes, hats, or frogs. Kids first select a theme and then begin their play right away. Scoops was not created with an educational intent but the game’s clear, singular goal and easy-to-use interface will keep kids entertained.
Is It Any Good?
Foodie alert: Scoops has expanded the forecast from falling scoops of ice cream to hamburger patties. Now kids can stack burgers, too, and track their scores on a personal stats page. The graphics are pretty, starting with a background scene of Central Park. Reach the stars if you're really good at catching food.
