What's It About?

SCRIBBLE PRESS is a kid-friendly book-creation and -publication app that kids can use to write and illustrate stories, publish them online or in print, and view other kids' books. More than 500 writing and drawing tools allow kids to convey their stories and their messages via words, fonts, colors, images, and more. After you create an account, tap New Book to start working on a blank template or a pre-made story line, including ideas such as "If I ran for president" or "My first day at my new school." Tap New Drawing to draw a picture, or tap Browse Books to find and read books published publicly by other Scribble Press users. Kid works can be published online publicly or privately, or printed copies can be ordered directly from the app. Scribble Press also offers kids the option to draw to make pictures, greeting cards, or other one-page works. Scribble Press provides kids with ways to practice storytelling and use creativity and share as much or as little as desired.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say : Not yet rated
Kids say : Not yet rated

Kids are empowered by Scribble Press to imagine and create stories with whatever storytelling skills they currently have, whether it involves using one of the 50 pre-made story templates or starting completely from scratch and moving all the way to public publishing. You'll need to be involved with younger kids, and even for older kids parents may want to provide reminders about guarding personal information if kids want to publish their books on the app publicly. But the options for creativity are nearly limitless, and kids will be able to choose their own levels of book customization. Scribble Press lives up to its motto -- "Imagine, Create, Publish" -- and it's a great way for kids to explore storytelling, illustrating, and publishing.
