Is It Any Good?

Our review:

Kids say ( 1 ):

This app adds nothing but advertisements to the old standard game of Truth or Dare. Some of the pre-loaded questions on Truth or Dare - Kids Game may be considered rude or inappropriate, so it's not great for younger kids who might have a more innocent take on the game if left to their own devices. What players add, however, is completely up to users. The app offers no rules, warnings, or suggestions that could make Truth or Dare safer or more kid-friendly. Also, the ads on Truth or Dare - Kids Game are for products and services for adults or are for free apps with an "install" button. Overall, this is one app that is most definitely not an improvement on the device-free version of the game.

Talk to Your Kids About ...

  • Talk to your kid about parties with silly games like this one that could put people in embarrassing situations. Is it OK to take pictures? Is it OK to share them?

  • While this app involves in-person play, it is about sharing personal information, so it may be a good segue into talking with your kid about privacy and safety on social apps, too.
