What's It About?

VideoFX Live is a video creation tool to make original movies on an iOS device and share via email or social media. The app has onboard video special effects (with more available for purchase). Teens can select a special effect and add a title, if desired, then shoot video. VideoFX Live saves everything in-app and allows teens to upload directly to Facebook or YouTube, or send via email. VideoFX Live is powerful video tool and is best for those who understand the responsibilities of sharing images through social media.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say ( 10 ):
Kids say ( 5 ):

VideoFX Live is a great app for creating original videos and is easy to use. The app's technology is sophisticated and gives teens powerful tools to make stunning movies. What makes VideoFX Live stand out is its great in-app special effects and titles toolkit -- they load quickly, so there's little down time when making a movie. It's the app to have on hand to shoot just about anything -- a walk through the park, family celebration, school field trip, or just an afternoon hanging out with friends. In minutes, teens can create an impressive, original video and share with family and friends.

VideoFX Live has some privacy concerns, but less so than with similar apps. Teens have the option to upload their VideoFX Live movies to the web, and the app encourages sharing on social media. Teens should think carefully about what they include in their VideoFX Live videos and where they share them. Teens also need to consider the ramifications of copyright infringement and avoid sharing videos of movies and TV shows.
