This gripping fantasy is a fun, dramatic story based on characters from Greek mythology. In This Poison Heart, author Kaylon Baron employs the same successful formula she used in Cinderella Is Dead, reworking a classic with modern characters and plot twists. This time, it's Jason and Medea. The main character, Bri, is witty and sympathetic, and there's a heartwarming dynamic between Bri, her sentimental mother, and her mother's joking wife. The author manages to give readers a satisfying ending and still leave 'em wanting more -- ready for Book 2 in the series, This Wicked Fate, coming in June 2022.
