Books About Spring

Last updated: April 7, 2026

Spring takes many forms around the world (and in some places, it's barely a blip!). But where it does happen, it usually means that the days start feeling longer and warmer, gentle showers replace cold rain or snow, bright green leaves begin to grow on bare trees, and flowers bloom. The books on this list touch on this time of new beginnings. Some explicitly introduce elements of spring, while others use the season's renewal and transformation as a metaphor for character growth. A few capture the fun (or horror) of spring break, and many are just set during springtime. For reads that celebrate other seasons, check out Books About Fall and Books About Winter.
