Fall for Me
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
In FALL FOR ME, Lilli (Svenja Jung) is a savvy auditor in Germany. Her dead mother left her and her sister, Vale (Tijan Marei), a run-down house on a spectacular oceanside cliff on the Spanish island of Mallorca. Vale loves it on the island and has fallen in love with Manu (Victor Meutelet), a handsome local who wants Vale to sell the property and use the proceeds to open a bed-and-breakfast with him. Too bad they need Lilli's signature. Lilli immediately suspects something is off about Manu. While Manu's scam seems clear to Lilli, she is slow to notice that local club manager Tom (Theo Trebs) is doing the same to her. Tom's appeal and prowess are highlighted in sex scenes, all presumably being directed by slimy real estate executive Nick (Thomas Kretschmann) and his smooth but evil wife, Girasol (Lucia Barrado). They're ready to turn the cliffside property into a high-end resort, if only both sisters will sign it away at a bargain-basement price.
Is It Any Good?
Like 50 Shades of Grey and 365 Days, Fall for Me features sexual exploits with two good-looking actors who have beautiful bodies. The plot feels minimal and only sturdy enough to supply the foundation on which movie sex can be had. Viewers will not be looking for great acting or clever plotting. The ending is a head-scratcher and feels tacked on. If the beautiful Spanish coast and pretty people kissing—and more—are not enough, this movie will not be for you.
