Your Fault: London
What's the Story?
Step-siblings Nick (Matthew Broome) and Noah (Asha Banks) continue their secret love affair in YOUR FAULT: LONDON, but their lives are getting more complicated. Nick is stepping into a leadership role at his father William's (Ray Fearon) firm, while Noah is off to study engineering at Oxford. New people will come into their lives, including Nick's attractive new work partner Sophia (Louisa Binder) and Noah's new classmates, the interested Michael (Joel Nankervis) and Briar (Scarlett Rayner), who has her own past with Nick. When Nick and Noah's parents find out about their children's relationship, they threaten to take away their support if the two don't break up. Will the pair be able to survive all the new threats to their union?
Is It Any Good?
This English version of a Spanish series could benefit from its predecessors and tinker with what does and doesn't work in the story, but the filmmakers haven't taken full advantage of this. Your Fault: London removes some of the more improbable elements of the Spanish version, toning down some characters and scenarios. But it seems to have trouble knowing where else to cut, and at a long two hours, the film drags. Loyal fans of the series and characters may be just fine with the extended length, but by the same token, they may also be the ones to miss the more frenzied passion of the Spanish versions.
