What’s It About?
CAMP WEWOW is a daily interactive summer camp podcast series built around weekly themes. Each week explores a particular STEAM topic drawn from a Wow in the World episode, which could range from music to magic to water. The Monday episode introduces the theme of the week and invites campers to listen to a full-length Wow in the World episode. Tuesday through Thursday episodes (which average about 10 minutes in length) offer up experiments, games, recipes, and more for listeners to try at home. Kids are given the opportunity to share what they learned with Tinkercast either by calling in or via the website. During the Friday campfire episode, listeners hear from other campers about what they've learned or created.
Is It Any Good?
This is an entertaining and educational podcast that will delight fans of Wow in the World as well as those unfamiliar with the series. Camp WeWow was designed as a safe and free alternative or supplement to in-person camp. It's a fun listen that encourages creativity and experimentation, and the activities are simple (allowing them to be re-created at home) yet reinforce science concepts in a meaningful way. Kids hear from other kids during the campfire episode, which is important for creating a sense of community among campers. During music week, campers share instruments they've built, such as a guitar made from a box with a rubber band, or a cast used as a drum.
In addition to its immensely funny and talented hosts, this podcast stands out for top-notch sound production, music, and sound effects. The humor will be appreciated even by those older than the target audience, making this a good choice for kids, siblings, and adults to listen to together.

Mindy and Guy each have different approaches to learning. How can different perspectives help in doing experiments and coming up with solutions?
What STEAM topics do you want to explore? Can you choose one of these topics and come up with ideas for a week-long camp?
