Parents need to know that Action Pack Saves Christmas is a holiday special from the Action Pack preschool series. There's a bit of mild suspense at the hands of kid villain Teddy Von Taker, and some sadness when Teddy takes the whole town's Christmas spirit. While the special does emphasize the true meaning of Christmas, preschoolers may notice the characters' excitement towards receiving gifts. Otherwise, Action Pack Saves Christmas is a sweet holiday-themed version of the superhero series.
What's the Story?
In ACTION PACK SAVES CHRISTMAS, pint-sized superheroes Treena, Wren, Clay, and Watts help the town of Hope Springs have a merry holiday. They're gearing up for the town Christmas tree lighting when spoiled kid Teddy Von Taker arrives to ruin everything. Can the Action Pack return the cheer to Hope Springs and still help Santa deliver presents on time?
Is It Any Good?
Kids who like the Action Pack series and celebrate Christmas will enjoy this sweet holiday-themed series. In Action Pack Saves Christmas, there's lots of not-too-scary superhero action. Preschoolers will be satisfied by seeing Teddy Von Taker face consequences for his naughtiness, and knowing that Christmas will still happen as planned. While it doesn't have the depth of some other preschool Christmas specials, grown-ups can feel good about the plot that focuses on the joy of giving and helping others.
