Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Blown Away: Christmas is a holiday special featuring former contestants from the glass-blowing competition Blown Away competing for cash and a chance to make a donation to their chosen charity. Like its parent series, it's upbeat and creative, and offers some details about the craft. There's a brief mention of addiction, and on occasion strong words (like "crap") are audible. Nonetheless, the overall series is largely family-friendly.
Is It Any Good?
This fun, lively series special features some fan favorites creating beautiful glass items that reflect an aspect of the holiday season. The contestants are excited and congenial, and both the host and judge are positive and constructive. But the real draw to the series is watching how the artists create their masterpieces. If you like watching game shows that showcase art and creativity, Blown Away: Christmas is a jolly option to watch.
