Clarkson's Farm
What's the Story?
In Clarkson's Farm, English television presenter and former host of Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson, attempts to run his 1,000-acre farm in the Cotswolds with no previous experience and a limited willingness to listen to expert advice. Lots of farm antics and adult tantrums ensue.
Is It Any Good?
In this quirky series, brash TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson hires and then mostly ignores the experts and their advice on running the farm he's purchased. If you enjoyed Top Gear and Clarkson's general vibe, you will likely enjoy Clarkson's Farm. He blusters his way through each daily task with the temperament of a stubborn, self-important, impatient 59-year-old toddler. He reluctantly attempts, and then ultimately quits and marvels at, the hard physical and mental labor it takes (others) to work in agriculture. His jokes can be funny, but they're often made at someone else's expense.
