What's the Story?

In JUST ALICE, a woman in Colombia named Alice (Verónica Orozco) is late for her wedding. Her car is towed while she's picking up her dress, she can't hail a cab, and is worried she's going to miss the ceremony entirely. Desperate, she calls her best friend, who ditches her ride share customer and shows up on a motorcycle. Alice is plagued with nerves, wondering if she's doing the right thing by getting married. As the groom awaits her, her nerves betray more than fear of commitment; she might be getting in over her head in other ways. Can she stop the chaos she's created? Or is it too late?

Sexy, sleek, adventurous, this fast-paced comedy from Colombia will appeal to fans of Sex and the City. Just Alice benefits from fine acting, but there are iffy messages about drinking and promiscuity.

The glamorous vibe might tempt teens to watch this one, which does have suggestive scenes. Though graphic sex isn't shown, parents might want to check in with their teens about booze leading to promiscuity as demonstrated in this show.
