What's the Story?

MALPRACTICE is a British anthology drama that follows different stories navigating malpractice in the health care industry. Each season is centered on a different health care worker, from emergency room doctors to psychiatrists, who have been accused of malpractice in cases with patients that were fatal. These cases are investigated by Dr. George Adjei (Jordan Kouamé) and Dr. Norma Callahan (Helen Behan), as they try to get to the bottom of the misconduct while tackling their past, morals, values, and relationships.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say : Not yet rated
Kids say : Not yet rated

This series takes the medical drama out of the emergency room and doesn't follow the typical episode-of-the-week format. Malpractice is complex, topical, and thrilling. Misconduct storylines have been explored throughout popular medical dramas, but this series thoroughly unravels one case throughout each season. It portrays the different conditions and systems that both patients and doctors must navigate in a refreshing way, where there are multiple truths. Viewers might find themselves not rooting for or against any main character fully. The performances of the cast (especially Kouamé and Behan) portray the incredibly flawed and complex character dynamics well. The drug use, language, and violence make this suitable for older teens.
