Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
If a magic pet in Pet Port needs help or if a troublemaker plans to disturb the peace, there's no need to worry. Mila, Jordie, and their shape-shifting magic pet Morphle are ready for action in MORPHLE SHORTS! The series includes short-lived adventures where the kids become heroes using ample courage and imagination.
Is It Any Good?
Magic pets that can shape-shift into anything are a dream for many kids and a reality in this short-form series. While creativity abounds, Morphle Shorts is exciting, but there's not much more than that. While Morphle and the Magic Pets expanded the world of Morphle, this Shorts series focuses on quick adventures and has no time to develop longer lessons. This leaves a bittersweet feeling after seeing the potential of the series to explore the power of creativity in the longform. If your kid is a fan of the show, they will enjoy seeing more stories. If this is their first time with it, however, starting with the longer episodes might be a better choice.
Talk to Your Kids About ...
Families can talk about the creativity in Morphle Shorts. Morphle's magic ability to transform into things often helps solve everyday problems. If you could have one magic power, what would it be?
Mila and Jordie are quite different but still get along very well. Have you had friends who are different from you? What can you learn from them?
