What's the Story?
In THE FROG, a tourist destination boasts views of a lake with lodging that's surrounded by fluffy pines. Koo Sang Jun (Yoon Kyesang, Kiss Sixth Sense) is a hotel owner that prides himself on the cleanliness of his rooms. Jeon Yeong-ha (Kim Yoon-Seok) also owns a tourist destination, though his is smaller and more luxurious. A series of events turn lives upside down. Can a ripple effect be undone?
Is It Any Good?
Delving into the aftermath of people's lives that have been sullied by violence, this artful, disturbing series is not for younger teens or sensitive viewers. The Frog is a slow-burning, ominous thriller that lulls viewers into a trance, then creeps in with twisted brutality.
Rife with excellent acting and characters who keep horrible secrets, fans of David Lynch will find a home here.
