Zombie Highway

Sideswiping, fast-paced, and bloody action-horror game.

What parents need to know

Ease of play

The rules are simple and the controls work incredibly well. The farther you go in the game, though, the more challenging it will become.

As you drive down the highway, zombies leap onto your car and attempt to tip it over. You sideswipe debris and crashed vehicles in order to knock the zombies loose, often with a spray of blood. Your backseat passenger (who you also control) can use a gun to shoot zombies off the car at point-blank range, also with a spray of blood. The blood may be minimal compared to that in other zombie games, but the animation and graphics here are quite realistic.

Parents Need to Know

Parents need to know that the simple and exciting gameplay of Zombie Highway makes the game quite compelling, but that it is a very violent game. As in most zombie games, the goal is to kill the monsters. Players control a character who can choose from an arsenal of guns to shoot and kill the zombies, and there is plenty of blood. When it was originally released, Zombie Highway allowed users to connect to their Facebook accounts and brag about high scores, but that feature has been disabled.

Is it any good?

The rapid-paced gameplay and excellent control system make ZOMBIE HIGHWAY a super compelling game. There's not much to it -- you drive and knock zombies off your car -- but what's there is very well done. After you finally crash your car or get flipped onto your roof by the zombies, it's hard to resist saying, "Okay, one more try." As fun as it can be, though, Zombie Highway is definitely not a game for young kids. The onscreen blood is minimal compared to other zombie games, though, and the guns are all unseen inside the car, so mature teens should be able to handle it.

Timekiller is actually pretty cool, just different from most zombie games.

Its great, but it isnt exactly hardcore. Its good for a small trip in the car or a quick game while your standing in line, not for a 2-Hour marathon, if you know what I mean. Anyway, if you want a full review, wait for someone else to post, cause im just gonna sum up my concerns. First, the violence. I mean, if it has "Zombie" in the title, you know it wont be about peace and love, but this is one of the cleaner zombie games. All your doing is slamming the stupid things into derbis and shooting the stronger ones, and yes, there is a spray of blood, but its not splatterd everywhere, like in most other zombie games. So, my point is, don't go and download it for your 5-YO, but its pretty much OK for any other age as long as your kid can handle zombies and minimal blood.

Zombie Highway

This App Store Game is violent characters shoot zombies blood is visible despite being gory it's pretty brief characters can also kill zombies by hitting them against rocks and road signs however all aftermath Is brief and it's hard to pause the game to see details however the weaponry including handguns and machine guns make this best for young teens. You can buy things in the game with REAL MONEY but you have to write in your password which makes it obvious.

A little bit of brief blood

A fun and challenging game, there is blood but it's very brief and not that realistic.
