Comforting Books for Little Kids

In uncertain times, reassuring stories can help kids feel loved and secure. The books on our list show young characters -- whether animal or human -- feeling loved and valued, getting through difficulties with the aid of friends and family, and showing resilience. Many of these books make great read-alouds, too, at bedtime or anytime. Create a special memory by cozying up with your little one and one of these books. For more comforting stories, check out our Bedtime Books, Self-Esteem Books, and Love Books for Little Ones.
