What we love

Food TV

Food television is everywhere these days -- from instructional cooking shows to programs about the science of food to reality cook-off competitions -- and luckily, most of these shows are family friendly. Choose from some of our favorites below and then take what kids learn on television and bring it into real life. Cooking together as a family can be fun, and a good way to bring parents and kids together. You can also shop together for unusual ingredients or try some edible science experiments. Watching these shows together can be a good way to start discussing healthy eating habits with kids, too.
