Hidden Gems: Picks by We Need Diverse Books

Mega-hits like the Wimpy Kid and The Hunger Games series may dominate bestseller lists, but there are many stellar books worth reading that don't always get the attention they deserve. Since representation matters in kids' media, we partnered with nonprofit We Need Diverse Books to spotlight hidden gems that not only entice readers of all ages and interests, but also authentically reflect a wide range of voices and cultures. These books will put readers in others' shoes, make them feel seen and understood, and open up inventive worlds that explore new perspectives while highlighting what we have in common.
